Especially if you read my last blog you will know that I have always LOVED eyeshadow! So to say the least I have been loving coming up with my own color combos. I noticed Stardust Micas has a pigment set called âMermaidâ and it inspired me to design this fun palette. I am so glad I did because I am having so much fun wearing these colors (and I keep getting compliments! đ)
That being said you can create any colors you want so feel free to play around and get creative. I would love to see any color combos you create!
I also mixed a few colors together and used a few not in the mermaid set. I will break that all down below so you can recreate these colors if you want đ
Shadow Base:
1 Tbs Bentonite Clay
1 Tbs Arrowroot Powder
3-5 Drops Lavender Essential Oil (Optional)
Eyeshadow Ingredients:
1/4th Tsp Cosmetic Grade Mica
1/8th Tsp Shadow Base (Approximately)
5 Drops Argan Oil
Pea sized amount of fresh Aloe Vera (Less is more. It doesnât take much!)

I recommend letting the shadows sit for 12+ hours before using them. Gives the aloe time to dry down.
Some colors will need more shadow base to be smooth and silky. For example I found when I made gold it needed the regular amount but when I was working with purples and orange in needed a little more base to be smooth and silky on the skin so I recommend testing it on your skin before adding the Argan and Aloe. That way if you need to add more base itâs easy to blend. The color will also intensify when you add the Argan and Aloe. Just some things to keep in mind.

Just a reminder. Because itâs cosmetic grade does not always mean eye safe đ most of the Stardust micas are eye safe but just double check before ordering if your picking a color not listed here đđ»
